That He
should lie, neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and
shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and he shall not make it good? -Numbers
23:19
What is it that you are believing God for that has not yet come to pass? What has God spoken to you? Often in our walk with God, we can become so discouraged because we see what He is doing in the lives of others and it seems as if we are at a standstill. The life that God has shown us seems so far off, like we’ll never get it. But, we must remember this one important and insanely accurate statement in the Bible-God is not a man. When God says something, it will come to pass. I don't care how "crazy" it sounds. We have to understand that God doesn't see through the same eyes that we see through. This is the same God that formed us out of dirt all while putting together a blueprint for our life individually. He didn't make a collective plan and say that we will all do the same thing. No, He thought about it and created us and then walked to the end and made sure that we died with a purpose. God is a promise keeper. The question that we must ask ourselves is “what am I doing to make what He said come to pass?” Trust God and when He speaks something to your spirit, get up by faith and pursue what He has spoken over your life. Some Christians mistake God for a genie and don’t realize that we have the power to get what God has for us. He has gifted us with that power. :) We must meditate (speak loudly and declare) what God has already spoken. We have to echo and believe those words to be truth. God cannot lie sis. Whether it is healing, a turnaround in finances, a marriage, a child, a career, trust God and act on what He has said. Before I started this blog, I was so lost and had no clue how to start it, what to write, or if it would reach anyone. My only goal was to please God with the gifts that He has given me. I was so nervous because there are already so many people blogging, what can I say that these women haven’t already heard? And that’s when God spoke this blog into my spirit. It’s not about anyone else, it’s about being obedient. It’s about taking a chance with God. He cannot lie. That encouraged me to go forward with this and now you are reading the first official blog of ProjectHope! Whatever it is in this season that God is telling you to do- just go for it sis! He will not fail you. Yes, there will be bumps in the road. Name one successful business that doesn’t have a few mishaps-EXACTLY! Trust, trust, trust God, be obedient, and watch His promises manifest in your life all for HIS glory!

This is the fruit of me trusting God-Graduating from college. It was ALL by God's grace and strength. If it had not been for the LORD who was on MY SIDE...literally! It took 5 long years for me to figure out what I wanted to do, and to really find GOD! He allowed me to finish this course and this is to encourage you sis, that obtaining the promises of God for our lives won't be easy but it is possible. Trust Him in everything that you do. Proverbs 3:5-6 reads, "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." So, first you must trust- in order to trust God, we have to believe that He is the Great I Am. the second thing that we must do is lean on Him and ask Him to show us His plan so that we may understand it the way that He desires us to. Step three is to consult Him BEFORE you do something and THEN He will show us what way to go. If we choose to consult Him afterwards, we may take a left when His plan was for us to keep straight. God is the ultimate GPS. So many times I use my GPS and i'll still try to go my own way as if Siri doesn't know what she's talking about. That's how we are with God. We don't want to follow His instructions until we are almost to the point of no return when it was His plan all along to take us the divine way. We desire to take the easy way. The thing about God is that He will allow tests and trials to come our way but rest assured sis that He already has a plan for you to pass them. Trust Him in this season with all of your might. He loves you!
